Gut & Microbiome

Comprehensive Stool Analysis

An advanced microbiome analysis that goes far beyond a basic stool test. We examine the composition of your gut bacteria, the presence of pathogens, your digestive efficiency, inflammatory markers, and gut-brain axis function.

If your mental health symptoms have a gut component — and they often do — this is how we find it. Anxiety, depression, brain fog, skin issues, and autoimmune conditions frequently have roots in gut dysfunction that no one has investigated.

What We Measure

Beneficial Bacteria

The protective species that support digestion, produce short-chain fatty acids, regulate inflammation, and maintain the gut barrier.

Pathogenic Bacteria

Harmful organisms including H. pylori, C. difficile, and other clinically significant pathogens that drive GI symptoms and systemic inflammation.

Yeast & Fungal Overgrowth

Candida and other fungal species that contribute to bloating, brain fog, sugar cravings, and immune suppression.

Stress & Hormonal Axis

Adrenal Stress Test

A 4-point cortisol and DHEA assessment that maps your stress response across an entire day — morning, midday, afternoon, and evening. This test reveals whether chronic stress has disrupted your HPA axis, the communication loop between your brain and adrenal glands that governs energy, sleep, mood, weight, and immune function.

If you're exhausted but can't sleep, wired but can't focus, or gaining weight despite doing everything "right" — this is often where the answer is hiding. The cortisol-to-DHEA ratio tells us how depleted your system actually is.

Cellular & Metabolic Function

Organic Acids Testing

A comprehensive metabolic snapshot from a single urine sample. Organic acids are the byproducts of cellular metabolism — they reveal nutrient deficiencies, neurotransmitter metabolites, mitochondrial function, detoxification capacity, and cellular health at a level that blood tests simply cannot reach.

This single test often tells us more about what's happening at the cellular level than most conventional panels combined. It's particularly valuable for patients with treatment-resistant fatigue, mood disorders, brain fog, and unexplained symptoms.

What We Measure

Mitochondrial Function

Krebs cycle intermediates that tell us if your mitochondria are producing ATP efficiently or struggling. Often the answer for chronic, unexplained fatigue.

Neurotransmitter Metabolites

Downstream metabolites of serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and GABA — the biochemical reality behind mood, motivation, focus, and anxiety.

Nutrient Sufficiency Markers

Functional markers for B vitamins, CoQ10, vitamin C, and other cofactors — shows whether your cells are actually using these nutrients.

Comprehensive Hormone Analysis

DUTCH Test (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones)

The most comprehensive hormone test available. Unlike standard blood tests that capture a single snapshot, the DUTCH test measures hormone levels and their metabolites through dried urine samples collected over a full day — revealing not just how much of each hormone you produce, but how your body processes and clears them.

This is the test we reach for when patients have symptoms that don't match their bloodwork — unexplained fatigue, stubborn weight gain, mood instability, menstrual irregularities, or hormonal symptoms that persist despite "normal" labs.

What We Measure

Estrogen Metabolites

How your body breaks down estrogen through three distinct pathways — critical for assessing breast cancer risk, PMS, endometriosis, and estrogen dominance.

Progesterone Metabolites

True progesterone production over time — not just a single-point blood draw that can miss luteal phase deficiency and ovulatory dysfunction.

Androgen Metabolites (Testosterone & DHEA)

Full androgen production and metabolism — reveals PCOS patterns, adrenal androgen excess, and 5-alpha reductase activity.

Why these tests change the conversation.

Each of these panels is powerful on its own. But the real value is in how they connect — revealing how your body functions as an integrated system, not a collection of isolated numbers.

Your gut produces neurotransmitters. A stool analysis shows us the microbial environment. An organic acids test shows us the neurotransmitter output. Together, we see the gut-brain connection in real data.
Your stress response reshapes your hormones. Cortisol dysregulation alters your gut permeability, your sex hormones, and your thyroid conversion. The DUTCH test and adrenal testing show us how chronic stress cascades through every system.
Your mitochondria need what your gut absorbs. If digestion is impaired, the nutrients that power cellular energy production never arrive. Organic acids testing shows us the downstream impact that routine bloodwork can't detect.
Your physician selects what you need. Not every patient needs every test. We recommend advanced panels based on your symptoms, your history, and what your foundational labs reveal. No unnecessary testing — only what moves your care forward.
